Position Summary: MINDA North America LLC is an engineering company specialized in conveying technology for various industries and production lines for mass timber products. We are a member of the German based MINDA-Group and serve the US / North American market. The Project Manager will be responsible to plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict quality standards deadlines and within budget while maintaining high levels of safety and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for the project’s oversight throughout all phases of the project cycle, to include initiation, project definition, scope, requirements definition, design overview, testing and implementation. This includes acquiring resources (internal and external) and coordinating efforts of team members, and subcontractors to deliver projects according to plan and budget. The Project Manager will work closely with mechanical and electrical engineering leaders to ensure timely and quality design completion of release packages to fabrication. Project manager will help plan and maintain internal production schedules for to ensure deadlines stay on tract in accordance with project requirements.

Essential Duties (not limited to):
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Read, interpret and generate manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards.
- Communicate with customers on an ongoing basis throughout the project to keep everyone up to date.
- Review all machine designs and specifications prior to machine production to ensure compliance to order.
- Help implement production schedule to maintain on-time deliveries to customers.
- Coordinate with fabrication shop supervisor throughout the production process.
- Confer with engineering team and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve malfunctions and provide technical information.
- Collaborate on and recommend system components or direct modifications of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with a diverse team on a variety of engineering/manufacturing tasks.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Adhere to all company policy and procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all time.
- Other tasks that may be deemed necessary by the management team.
Physical Demands:
- Must be capable of wearing personal protective equipment as necessary to comply with government, company, and customer safety standards, especially whenever engineered methods of reducing hazard or physical requirements cannot be reasonably accommodated.
- Job includes tasks that require sitting, walking, kneeling, standing, bending, twisting, gripping, stair and ladder climbing, entering confined spaces, and occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Travel as required for project installations and customer meetings.
- Frequent travel by airplane and car without hesitation.
Required Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- High mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
- Understanding of Electrical and Software programming functions and their interface with machine operation, and interfacing with other equipment or networks.
- Knowledge of structural steel construction and mechanical parts.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Design software is a must.
- Background with automation system/material handling.
- Ability to travel overnight extensively, weekends as required.
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills is a must.
- Possess strong analytical, troubleshooting and project management skills with a demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to customers' needs and manage customers’ expectations.
- Prior woodworking / industrial machinery maintenance or operator experience.
- Flexibility to work overtime hours as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in Project Management related responsibility.
- Advanced AutoCAD and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work with multiple projects at once.
- Decision making ability and leadership skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Computer or network experience for small business networks a plus.
- Strong computer skills required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel domestically on a regular basis (Up to 50%) with the ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel.
- Background, MVR and pre-employment drug screen required.
