Every year, this traditional cycling tour welcomes company members with 25 or more years of service. This year’s outing was organized by former colleagues Heinrich Siewers and Rainer Witte, who prepared a varied route with great attention to detail.

The tour started, as usual, at Hans-Böckler-Straße in Minden. From there, the route led through Frille and the surrounding fields to the restaurant Zum weißen Hirsch, where the cyclists enjoyed a delicious schnitzel buffet for lunch.

After this well-earned refreshment, the group continued via Cammer and through the Schaumburg Forest to Meinsen. There, they took a relaxed break at a courtyard café, enjoying cool drinks in good company.

The return route passed through the open countryside and the Nordholz area, along the idyllic Bückeburg lowlands, and back to the starting point on Hans-Böckler-Straße. In total, 35 cycling enthusiasts took part in the tour – including twelve former colleagues who were happy to reconnect and share fond memories.

As always, the Silver Tour is not about athletic performance, but about the shared experience. There was plenty of laughter and lively conversation throughout the day.
