15 GLULAM (GLT) – PLANTS We have been planning and supplying customized plants for the glulam production (GLT) worldwide for over 40 years. In addition to the mechanization and conveyor technology usual in the industry, our product portfolio includes a wide range of hydraulic GLT presses. Both the glulam presses and the conveyor technology for boards, lamellas and glulam beams are almost infinitely scalable. In the field of engineered wood construction, we thus realize plants for extremely large glulam beams of up to 50 m in length, but also highly efficient and highly automated production lines for straight standard glulam beams up to 18 m in length. Depending on the requirements, we plan our plant technology on a customer-specific basis for existing buildings as well as for greenfield projects. If desired, we can also integrate a wide variety of third-party machines into the overall concept. Our FlowMate higher-level production control technology is used particularly for flexible production systems for order-based production - batch size 1. It supplies the PLC controllers just-in-time with the necessary production data and ensures an efficient and continuous production.
